This Policy explains how Mifto Technologies FZCO (“we”), operator of RentalFinder, collects and processes personal data. We process personal data in accordance with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, “PDPL”).
1. Data we collect
- Customers: name, WhatsApp/phone number, and the booking details you submit (dates, pickup/drop-off location).
- Rental companies (Suppliers): company details, contact information, and verification documents including trade license, VAT/TRN, authorized signatory and Emirates ID, and insurance certificates.
- Technical: limited request metadata (e.g., a hashed identifier used to prevent spam).
2. How we use it
- To connect customers with rental companies and pass on booking requests.
- To verify Suppliers (KYC) before their listings go live.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Platform.
3. Sharing
When you send a booking request, the details you provide (including your WhatsApp number) are shared with the selected rental company so they can serve you. We do not sell your personal data. We use trusted processors (e.g., cloud hosting and database providers) to run the service.
4. Sensitive verification documents
Supplier verification documents (trade license, Emirates ID, insurance, permits) are treated as confidential. They are stored in access-restricted private storage and are visible only to the document owner and our review team — never published publicly.
5. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or anonymize it.
6. Your rights (PDPL)
Subject to the PDPL, you may request access to, correction, or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
